Analysing Horror Film Social Media - Introduction

As a part of my marketing campaign I will be looking at different films social media pages to help advertise my film. I have noticed that social media pages have similar conventions regardless of the genre  the film belongs.

I am going to look at five films from the horror genre to test my initial observations and to see if there are indeed consistent conventions across the social media pages. The films I have chosen are: 

'The Pope's Exorcist'

'M3GAN'

'The Nun II'

'Evil Dead Rise'

'Saw X'
